Individual Potato Gratins
Makes 6
Ingredients:
- 6 medium-sized potatoes
- 250ml cream
- 200g cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to season
Method:
- Switch on the oven to 180ºC.
- Rinse the potatoes in warm water.
- Finely slice the potatoes.
- Layer the potato slices into individual ramekins or small bowls, seasoning after each layer.
- Pour the cream into each ramekin until the potato slices are submerged.
- Grate the cheddar cheese and sprinkle it liberally over the top of each ramekin.
- Place the ramekins in the oven for about 30 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked through and the cheese is melted and golden.
