Cinnamon Rice Pudding

Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 240ml long-grain rice
  • 480ml full cream milk
  • 240ml water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • Brown sugar and ground cinnamon to serve
  • Cream to serve

Method:

  1. Combine the rice, water, milk and cinnamon stick together in a saucepan.
  2. Simmer gently, stirring occasionally, until the rice is cooked. This will be about 20-25 minutes.
  3. Spoon into bowls and sprinkle generously with the mixed brown sugar and ground cinnamon.

The rice pudding can also be served with golden syrup and/or cream.
