Club`s top DIY tip of the week: If the water in your toilet is very slow in going down, or it won't flush at all anymore, you may have a bad clog. You can start fixing this clog by using your trusty plunger. Plunging down the water forces the clog to move a bit - and if it isn't very blocked, you should see the water go down when you next flush. Otherwise you will have to call in a plumber.

  1. Shred up some old newspapers or magazines (except, of course, Club Magazine, which you’re storing in folders for future reference), and put the shreds in a small pile.

  6. When the flames are low and coals are glowing, put the meat on the braai grid.
