Planning On Selling Your Home?

Here are some tips on making it appear even more appealing to prospective buyers.

Keep everything neat and tidy inside and out. Clear away piles of paper and mail. Neaten up bookshelves and make sure the towels in the bathroom are clean and fluffy.

Don’t neglect the exterior either. If you have a garden, make sure the soil in the flowerbeds is freshly turned and weed-free. Water the lawn regularly to create a lush green carpet and pack away any garden tools or hose pipes that may be lying around.

Create a feeling of light and space. Ensure that all windows and mirrors are freshly washed and streak-free. Open up all interior doors to allow light from all the windows in each room to flood your house.

First impressions count. Consider giving your front door a coat of paint and place a couple of welcoming potted plants in pretty containers outside the door. Make sure the entrance hall is free of clutter. Pack away coats, umbrellas and shoes that may have collected there.

Eliminate unpleasant odours
as a result of cigarette smoke, pets and cooking smells by opening up windows and doors for a few hours each morning. Use scented candles, room fresheners or fresh flowers to keep your house smelling country fresh.
