How To Write A Cover Letter
Your letter should not be more than one page and it should capture the employer’s attention. State which position you are applying for, indicate why your employment will benefit the company, and ask for an interview. Each letter should be addressed by name to the person you want to speak with, so make sure you have the right name and spell it correctly.
Make Sure You Use The Correct Layout:

Dear ………………
Opening: You capture the readers’ attention most easily by talking about the company rather than yourself. Mention projects under development or any good comments you’ve seen recently about the company. If you are answering an ad, you can mention it. If someone suggested that you write, you can use their name.
Body: The body of the letter is where you sell yourself to your employer, mention your qualifications and tell the employer why you are right for the job.
Closing: At the end of the letter, request an interview. Use a standard closing, such as “Yours sincerely,” leave three or four lines for your signature, and type your name. You can also include your phone number under your name.
Yours sincerely,
