Brighten Your Walls With Wrapping Paper Art
Brighten up a plain wall with great artwork – that you did yourself! Find some gorgeous wrapping paper that you love and turn it into a one-of-a-kind piece of art. Here’s how:
You’ll need:
- Scissors or a craft knife
- A ruler
- Wrapping paper
- Plain white paper
- Frame/s (look for bargains at discount stores and flea markets)
- Craft glue for sticking wrapping paper to background
What to do:
- First select the wrapping paper you want to use. Stick to simple patterns and shapes.
- Use a ruler to measure one or more squares of paper that are smaller than your frame.
- Use a craft knife or scissors to cut out each square. If your frame doesn’t already have a white background, use the same technique to cut a piece of plain white paper that is the same size as your frame.
- Use craft glue to stick the wrapping paper squares onto the white background.
- Put into frame and you’ve got instant wall art!
