Boerewors curry

Make a nice big pot of curry that you can enjoy over the weekend. This boerewors curry is something a little bit different and it's full of flavour.
15ml sunflower oil
500g beef boerewors, cut into chunks
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped
30ml medium curry powder
250g potatoes, cubed
500g chopped tomatoes
350ml hot water

1. Heat the oil in a large saucepan and fry the onion until soft.
2. Add the boerewors and brown lightly.
3. Stir in the curry powder and garlic.
4. Add the potatoes, tomatoes and hot water.
5. Bring to the boil and then reduce the heat to a simmer and cover for 20 minutes until the potatoes are soft.
6. Serve with rice and sambals.
