How to: Home-made burgers



We featured some tasty home-made burgers in a previous issue of Club – here's a step-by-step guide to making sure they turn out perfectly golden and juicy.


You will need:
• 500g beef mince • 1 chopped onion • 2 cloves garlic, crushed • 1 tbsp mustard • 30ml parsley, chopped • 1 egg • Salt and pepper • Sliced tomato and lettuce and cheese




1. Combine mince with onion, garlic, mustard, parsley and egg and season with salt and pepper.




2. Make patties by shaping the mixture by hand.
3. Grill on the braai for 15 minutes over medium coals or fry in a frying pan until golden. Serve hot on rolls with sliced tomato, lettuce, cheese and sauces of your choice.

In season add-ons: Avocado, mushrooms, corn on the cob.
